Our offer to you
Through our partnership with PitPat Life, MORE THAN has extended the range of prizes available in the PitPat Life Prize Store such as: toys, dog products and everyday pet essentials, to include additional prize(s) available only to eligible MORE THAN dog insurance customers (MORE THAN prizes).
Your eligibility to redeem and to receive such prize(s) is subject to these terms, which are in addition to the standard PitPat Terms and Privacy Policy, and the general terms applying to membership of PitPat Life.
Eligibility
You will be eligible to receive a MORE THAN prize if:
- You redeem the prize in accordance with the general PitPat Life terms governing eligibility and redemption processes, including but not limited to having a sufficient balance of legitimately earned points available to exchange for the prize you redeem; AND
- You have, at the time you joined PitPat Life or in any case prior to redeeming the MORE THAN prize, correctly registered the relevant dog’s MORE THAN policy details with PitPat Life; AND
- The dog in respect of whom you are redeeming a prize is covered by a MORE THAN dog insurance policy in force on the day you request your prize with PitPat Life; AND
- Your MORE THAN dog insurance policy has been in force and active for the minimum qualification periods per level of MORE THAN prize redemption:
- £10 – two months to redeem
- £25 – four months to redeem
- £50 – six months to redeem
- £100 – eight months to redeem
We may request additional information from you in order to assess the eligibility of any prize request you make, and we may require that you provide such information prior to assessing your request.
We reserve the right to reject any redemption that we reasonably believe may have been made fraudulently or in error.
Redemption process
You may redeem a MORE THAN prize only by following the prescribed mechanism provided by PitPat Life for redeeming such a prize. No other redemption process is available, and we will not accept requests made by any other means.
When we receive your request from PitPat Life, together with any additional information we request from you, we will assess its eligibility according to the criteria above and either fulfil or reject it within 60 days of receipt by us.
We will communicate with you using the email address provided to us by PitPat Life, which will normally be the email address you used to register your account with PitPat.
In respect of cash prizes, payment will be made by cheque, made payable to the registered MORE THAN policy holder of the relevant dog, and sent via Royal Mail to the address we hold on file for that account holder, being the same address where the dog is insured by your MORE THAN policy. Such cheques will remain payable for six months from the date of issue, after which they will expire, and no replacement will be available.
In respect of any other MORE THAN prizes, fulfilment will be in accordance with the mechanisms outlined in the prize description or elsewhere.
If we reject your prize request for any reason, we will email you to explain the reason(s) for the rejection, and we will inform PitPat Life to allow any points that have been deducted from your dog’s balance to be credited back to that dog.
Our right to contact you
We may contact you by email in respect of this offer, including to provide you with feedback or encouragement on your progress in PitPat Life, to highlight aspects or features of this offer, with PitPat Life, or of other related offers, and to ask for your feedback on this offer.
You may opt out of these communications by following the process provided in every communication you receive from us.
Our liability to you
Our liability to you is limited to our fulfilment or rejection of your request to receive any MORE THAN prizes. All other liability in respect of PitPat and PitPat Life remains with Pitpatpet Ltd.
We reserve the right to change the prizes we offer, to change their pricing in points, and/or to withdraw them without notice to you.
General
Neither these terms, nor any other terms relating to PitPat or PitPat Life, alter the terms and conditions as set out in your insurance policy with us, or change your ability to make claims in accordance with that policy.
We will not, without prior notice to you, make use of any information received from PitPat Life in relation to our provision of insurance to you under your existing policy.
These Terms & Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes arising in relation to these Terms & Conditions will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
