Keep them purring with MORE THAN cat insurance

Cats are independent creatures and love nothing more than exploring the great outdoors. Once in a while, they may come home with an unexpected injury or illness that needs vet attention.

Cat insurance cover levels

Accident only

With our lowest level of cover your cat will be covered for unexpected mishaps. You’ll be able to claim vet fees for a period of 12 months from the first date of treatment for an accident or until the vet fee limit is reached, whichever happens first. If you make a claim and have any remaining cover benefits you wish to use in the next policy year, you must renew your policy with us and there must be no break in cover.

Basic

Also known as Time Limited. Your cat will be covered for accidents or illness for a period of 12 months from the first date of treatment or until the vet fee limit is reached, whichever happens first. Premier policies bought before 20 March 2022

If you took out a pet insurance policy with us before 20 March 2022, different limits may apply.

If your policy has both a total vet fee limit as well as a limit per accident or illness, then both these limits will apply until notified at renewal. Depending on the level of cover selected, your policy will either be subject to a total vet fee limit of £4,000 (with each accident or illness limited to £1,000 of vet treatment) or £12,000 (with each accident or illness limited to £4,000 of vet treatment) each year.

If your policy has a total vet fee limit only, then this will remain unchanged.

More details on the vet fees limits that apply to your policy can be found in your schedule, or on your policy documents. If you're unsure, get in touch.
