You get a score that reflects how you've driven in the last seven days, in the last three months, and in your policy year to date. You can check your scores using your app or dashboard. Our best drivers are those who check their scores often, so aim for twice a week!

Yes, you can drive your car as soon as your policy has started.
However, its important to get your black box fitted straight away as your policy may be cancelled if it is not fitted within the first 14 days of buying your insurance cover.
You can track the miles you have driven, and your remaining mileage, in your app or dashboard. You'll also find an estimate of how many miles you are likely to drive in your policy year. Don't worry if you run out of miles, you can top up at any time.
The cost of top up miles is based on your driving score – the safer you drive, the cheaper your miles will be. However, remember to estimate your miles as accurately as you can from the start as topping up can be a more expensive option.

A business decision was made to withdraw from providing MORE THAN car insurance in 2023.
No, your current MORE THAN car, SMART WHEELS or LOW MILER policy, will continue unaffected; you will be able to make changes, claim and contact us as normal.
If you're a current MORE THAN home or pet customer, there is no need to worry. Your cover will carry on as normal for your full policy year. You can get in touch with us to make a claim and make any other changes in all the usual ways.
We will contact you in plenty of time before your renewal is due. This will give details about your options and what the next steps will be.
We will send you an email (which will also go into your online portal) around 3 weeks before your current policy renewal date, to confirm that you will need to arrange your car insurance with an alternative provider with effect from your policy expiry date.
Further details on your options and next steps will be contained in our communication sent out to you ahead of your policy expiring.
We are able to provide communications in alternative formats if required and you can contact us in the usual way to request this.
No, your ongoing car insurance claim will continue to be dealt with by MORE THAN until the claim has been closed.
If the incident you are reporting occurs prior to the end date of your existing policy, you should report your car insurance claim to MORE THAN in the normal way. If the incident you want to report occurs after your car insurance cover has moved to another provider, you should report it to your new car insurance provider.
