Need additional home cover?

Find out more about the options available to you below:
Accidental damage cover at home

Take the stress out of accidents – they happen but they don’t need to be an issue. Add accidental damage to your buildings insurance and you’ll be covered for accidental damage to drains and pipes, windows, baths and toilets. Add it to your contents insurance and you'll be covered for accidental damage to your carpets, furniture, TVs and computer equipment in your home.

Compulsory £250 excess applies.

Upgraded home emergency cover

Upgrade your policy from the standard £200 Home Emergency Assistance, to cover you up to £1,000. Should the worst happen, we’ll send one of our recommended tradespeople to come to your home and make it safe and secure. This upgraded emergency cover will help to fix your electrical supply or main heating system failures, repairs to your roof or drainage systems.

Personal possessions cover

To cover the items you carry around with you every day such as mobile devices and jewellery (worth less than £1,000), you'll need to add personal possessions cover (excess applies). You can also cover any items worth more than £1,000 - you just need to tell us about them so we can add each one to your policy.

Legal services

Add legal services and you'll benefit from having access to online templates to create legal documents such as a will and many more. You can submit them for review by a legal representative. Plus, get up to £50,000 towards legal expenses for certain disputes.

What is home insurance and why do I need it?

Having home insurance gives you peace of mind should the unexpected happen, be that a fire or a burglary. Although it’s not a legal requirement to have home insurance, it may be a requirement of your mortgage or you might want to consider the reassurance having a policy can bring you. Home insurance is typically split into two parts; buildings and contents insurance.

What does buildings insurance cover?

You'll be covered for rebuild costs of up to £1 million. If after a flood or fire your home becomes uninhabitable, we'll find you, your family and pets alternative accomodation, while repair works are carried out (cover limits apply). Plus we cover up to £200 for certain home emergencies and you can upgrade this to £1,000 worth if needed. Must use an authorised MORE THAN tradesperson. Terms and conditions apply.

What does contents insurance cover?

Home contents insurance will cover your belongings up to £100k, new for old cover (if lost or damaged items such as carpets or furniture cannot be repaired, we’ll replace them with new ones), £7,500 for high value and high risk items, theft from outbuildings, £500 freezer food cover and £1,000 locks and keys cover. Upgrade to get £11,250 for items moved temporarily away from home and £2,000 for contents in the open. Terms and conditions apply.
