Important changes for echoice customers

 

As an echoice customer, you may be wondering what’s happening to our echoice car insurance. We’ve recently made some changes so here’s all you need to know:

 

Why will echoice no longer be available?

Echoice has taken the decision to stop renewing car insurance policies when they expire from 1 July 2016. This decision does not affect your rights when applying for a new policy with another insurer.
 

Will my policy still exist?

Yes, we will honour your echoice policy until it expires, but please check your renewal date and review the following information carefully.
 

What should I do if my policy is due for renewal after 1 July 2016?

You will need to arrange alternative insurance cover from your renewal date for your car, as driving without insurance is an offence under the Road Traffic Act.

You can either:

1. Switch to MORE TH>N Car Insurance, another great insurance brand from RSA which is rated 5 stars by Defaqto (comprehensive cover), and as a current echoice customer you will also be eligible for a 10% discount. All quotes are subject to eligibility criteria and minimum premiums apply.

2. Choose to buy cover from another car insurance provider.
Your echoice policy will automatically expire at the end of the current policy period and there is no need to cancel it.

You can login to My echoice or call us on 0330 100 7826, select option 2.
 

I need to make a claim on my echoice policy. What should I do?

If you've been in an accident or your car has been damaged, and you need to make a claim on your echoice policy please call us on 0330 102 4085one of our Customer Advisers will be happy to help you.
 

What will happen to my No Claims Discount?

Before your policy expires, we'll send you a confirmation letter to let you know how many No Claims Discount years you have accrued on your policy. The number of years will depend on any claims made during the policy period and whether or not you chose to protect it.
