What's my excess?

Types of excess depending on cover and age.

Your excess is the amount you pay towards a claim. There are different types of excess and the amount you pay depends on your policy cover and the age of your pet.  Your excess will increase when your pet turns 9.

2 pets with different excess?

 

In November 2017, we introduced a new excess structure based on previous claim history. Which is why if you have more than one pet, their excess may be different. If you've never made a claim for your pet, they automatically moved to our new excess structure when their policy renewed. Meanwhile, if you made a claim for your pet, they remain on their existing excess.
