Renewals and cancellations

Our car insurance renewals process, and how to cancel your policy.

How much will my renewal policy be?

Your renewal price is re-calculated each year based on the information we hold about you and your policy.

I’ve paid for my policy via credit or debit card, how do I pay at renewal?

What you need to do at renewal if you paid for your policy by credit or debit card.

I’ve received my renewal invite, why are you showing me what I paid last year?

Find out why we've given you the previous year’s price as well as your renewal price.

Why is last year’s price different to what I paid when I renewed my policy last year?

Last year’s price reflects any changes you have made in the last 12 months and is the total amount you would have paid if these changes had been included for the full year of your policy.

How can I see what cover I had last year?

In your schedule, you’ll find a detailed breakdown of your price and what’s included in your policy, including any additional cover options you chose.

Why has my renewal price increased from last year?

Prices can increase for a number of reasons. If you haven’t made a claim on your policy, there are other reasons why prices go up at renewal.

I pay by monthly Direct Debit, but you’ve shown last year’s price as a single payment.

We’re showing your total price as we want you to be able to make an easy comparison.

Why is MORE TH>N encouraging me to shop around rather than rewarding my loyalty?

We’re working with the rest of the insurance industry to make the process of renewing easier for customers, including making sure you have the right cover at the right price.
