Once your policy begins, you will need to contact RS Connect on 0121 332 1240 to arrange for the black box to be fitted to your car at an agreed location. If the telematics device is not fitted by the date agreed, we reserve our right to cancel your policy by giving you at least seven days’ notice at your last known address or via email.
Your policy only provides cover for the agreed number of miles shown in your policy schedule. The black box will record the number of miles driven by your car and you can find the number of remaining miles in your app and online dashboard. We will contact you before you run out of miles and you will be able to choose one of the following options:
If you do not agree to one of the above options it will result in us cancelling the policy by giving you seven days’ notice at your last known address or via email as soon as you have run out of available miles.
If during any one annual period of insurance we identify examples of poor driving (such as excessive speed) on multiple occasions, or one unacceptable driving event, we reserve the right to cancel your insurance by giving you at least seven days’ notice at your last known address or by email.
This letter will confirm any action required from you, together with the date that your policy will be cancelled. Be aware that our cancellation of your policy may lead to other insurers refusing your application for car insurance.
