| Whether you are new to Pet Insurance or you have an existing Pet Policy it is important you read and understand the following : |

This new insurance will not cover anything that is caused by, relates to, or results from an illness, injury, or clinical signs your pet had before this new insurance is taken out or the costs of treating an illness that shows clinical signs in the first 14 days of the date the new insurance starts.

You can still arrange insurance on your pet but no cover will be available for anything mentioned above.

You and your pet must meet the following conditions:

You
|
Must be the owner of the pet
Must be at least 18 years old
Must live permanently at your home address
Must live in the United Kingdom, Isle of Man or the Channel Islands
|

Your Pet
|
Must be at least 8 weeks old
Must live with you at your home address
Has not had complaints made about its behaviour
Has not been the cause of an accident or legal action
Has not been trained to attack
Has not been used for security purposes or as a guard dog
Has not been used for racing, fighting or breeding.
Is not used in your profession, your occupation or any business.

You must arrange for your pet to be kept vaccinated against the following:
|
|
|
Dogs: distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis and parvavirus.
|
|
|
Cats: feline infectious enteritis, feline leukaemia and cat flu.
|
|
|
You can still arrange insurance on your pet even if it is not fully vaccinated but no cover will be available for any treatment/death benefit, for any illness your pet should have been vaccinated against
|
