The MORE TH>N Green Box is a small electronics device, which is plugged into the vehicle's standard EOBD (European on-board diagnostics) port. The MORE TH>N Green Box makes periodic requests to the vehicle for standard EOBD data - speed, revs, etc which are transmitted wirelessly via GPRS to a secure server. The MORE TH>N Green Box is able to read and interpret data from the engine management system and reports are made available to you via a secure website. Installation of the MORE TH>N Green Box will be carried out by approved and qualified Engineers and will be housed out of sight within your vehicle. Installations are generally completed within an hour (but may take longer) and can be arranged at your home or place of work. Once installed in your car, the device monitors both journey and engine information.

The MORE TH>N Green Box is provided to you completely free of charge by MORE TH>N when you take out a MORE TH>N Green Wheels Insurance policy.

The device will not interfere with the normal running or performance of your vehicle.

The MORE TH>N Green Wheels Report will measure your driving style on a range of factors that we know can lead to high CO₂ emissions. For each factor, you can see how you are performing each month and compare yourself against other MORE TH>N Green Wheels drivers.

MORE TH>N Green Wheels Insurance provides exactly the same cover as our standard MORE TH>N car insurance product. Your driving style will not affect your premium, it simply provides you with feedback on your driving technique.

Airmax Remote are the suppliers of the MORE TH>N Green Box. Airmax are a major player in telematic and automotive technologies and have installed in excess of 15,000 units since 2004.

Due to the advanced technology built into the MORE TH>N Green Box, certain vehicles are not compatible. As a general rule please use the following for reference:

Petrol models 2003 onwards in general (53 plates).

Diesel models 2004 onwards in general (04 plates).

If the MORE TH>N Green Wheels Insurance is not available due to incompatibility, we may offer our standard car insurance policy, also subject to the terms and conditions applicable.

No. Only the driver has access to their driving records via their personal username and login details.

No. The MORE TH>N Green Box has been designed to "plug and play" and will not interfere with the normal operation of the vehicles.

Your personal data will be made available to you via a secure website protected by password. MORE TH>N may use aggregated data from all Green Wheels drivers for the purposes of research into driving styles.

You may cancel this policy if you return the Certificate of Motor Insurance to us and allow us to retrieve the MORE TH>N Green Box. We will contact you to arrange a convenient time to remove the MORE TH>N Green Box. We will refund the appropriate proportion of your premium worked out from the date we receive your Certificate of Motor Insurance and confirmation from our service provider that the MORE TH>N Green Box has been retrieved.

If your policy is cancelled before the renewal date, any refund of premium may be subject to an administration fee, which accounts for our costs in providing the policy. If this applies to you details will appear in the Important Notes on your policy schedule.

If you change your car, you must allow us to retrieve the MORE TH>N Green Box from your old car prior to selling it. Provided that the MORE TH>N Green Box is compatible with your replacement car, we will arrange for a MORE TH>N Green Box to be installed and for your Green Wheels Insurance policy to continue. If the MORE TH>N Green Box is incompatible with your replacement car you will not be able to continue with the Green Wheels Insurance policy. We will be happy to discuss alternative insurance arrangements with you.

The Green Wheels Insurance policy will run for a period of 12 months, subject to the normal terms and conditions of the policy. Over the course of that period we will monitor and review the pilot to decide whether we are able to offer renewal on the same basis or whether we can offer an alternative policy, subject to our eligibility criteria

No. MORE TH>N Green Box is E marked (E11 022633) and CE marked and has been tested against automotive standards. The MORE TH>N Green Box does not affect dealership servicing equipment in anyway.

Airmax has installed in excess of 15,000 telematics units to date without any faults or damage to the vehicle. Airmax takes full liability for its products and will cover any legitimate costs incurred through faulty hardware or software.

Yes, Green Wheels insurance is available to our existing customers.

The MORE TH>N Green Box is the property of MORE TH>N.

Installations generally take about an hour but do vary according to vehicle type.

One of Airmax’s engineers, on behalf of MORE TH>N will call to arrange installations at a convenient time and location as close to the inception date of the policy as possible.

The MORE TH>N Green Box will not be visible from within the vehicle.
